Visit to the Flory's

Hi All,

This evening we visited with our neighbours down the road at 711 Hillcrest, the Flory's (David and Wendy), for tea and a natter. It was a nice way to spend a chilly January Saturday afternoon. They took a few pics of Anja and us which are shown below.

All else is well here in West Lafayette. Not much to report from this week other than Anja has pushed through one top tooth and the second is almost there. Don't expect photos of those for some time.

Went for a run this morning with two new running buddies, HÃ¥kan and Kevin. Phil was on Dad duty (although he was supposed to run earlier this morning) and Gary is still taking it easy from a knee injury. We went 4.5 miles. It felt longer. I do have some photos of Anja playing with Anna which I will share tomorrow.

That's it for now. It's Saturday evening and I have a fire on in the fireplace which I can hear crackling from here - I'm off to enjoy it.

Bye...................................

Short Update

Hi Everybody,

This update will be short since right now we don't seem to be doing very exciting things. Work, food time, bed..... Weekends are relaxing. Weather doesn't really allow for many outdoor activities. Looking forward to spring already.

I've pasted a few updated pictures below.

Happy New Year

To all You Blog Readers - Happy 2006,

The year kicked off again in earnest today with both Lynne and myself returning to work. Michele was also back, so Anja's life also returned to a more normal state of affairs. She was pretty spoilt over the last two weeks with four adults constantly fussing over her whilst providing instant feedback to each and every one of her new tricks.

Davey and Sam returned to the UK yesterday. I spoke with Dave today who assured me that the trip went well. We'd like to thank them once again for visiting, we enjoyed having them for both Christmas and New Year.

So what will 2006 bring? Hopefully everybody has made many challenging new years resolutions? I have - just hoping that my absolute conviction now will be born out past the second week of Jan.

Finally, thanks to all you blog readers out there for tuning in, so to speak, in 2005. We have had many visits and even more comments on the usefulness of this page to keep up with our activities in West Lafayette. We appreciate all your comments. Suggestions for improvements are always welcome.

Wishing you all a very prosperous year.

Paul
