Pat Leaves

Today was Pats last day with us. She took off for O’Hare this afternoon. She was obviously sad to leave us and we were sad that she was leaving. We also know that she was looking forward to getting home to see Dave again and back to her home and into her own routines. She was extremely helpful to us all and me in particular when Lynne was traveling.

When Pat left we literally slumped around the house. Lynne did venture out to do some shopping but our initial plans of going for a family bike ride were postponed until tomorrow since it was 93F outside today. We emerged from our slumber in the afternoon to cook some dinner and water our thirsty garden!! A nice relaxing Saturday that we finished off with a few homebrews. Perfect.
