After spending a few days relaxing in Ireland, we took to the road again to visit Lynne's brother Keith and family. He collected us at Heathrow which was really nice since we were lugging 6 bags of STUFF and Anja of course. After a short trip we had landed at his new house in Esher.
We got to chill out for the weekend, interacting with his kids during the day and catching up with their busy lives in the evening. Three kids which need shuffling between ballet, football, judo and others is not easy.
Anja and Ella who is five hit it off straight away. Anja seemed to want to copy everything she did!!
Keith and Sam are keeping well, although considering moving again (already on their 4th house in almost as many years). Not sure how they do it.
We were there for St Patrick's day. Whilst we did not partake in copious amounts of alcohol intake, we did enjoy the finale to the Six Nations Rugby Tournament. For those of you that know what this is and how it turned out, you will appreciate why I wish to comment on this no further....
We enjoyed the stay...Thanks

Trip to Europe
We returned last week from a two week trip to Europe. The first week was holiday and we spent the first part of that in Ireland. I will detail the remaining part in a later post.
We went to Roscommon for five days and we arrived to great fanfare. This was Anja's first trip to Ireland and a multitude of relations were making their way over the course of a few days to meet her. She was a little overwhelmed at first but soon took to the hustle and bustle.
We met my two brothers Clive and Aiden together with their better halves, Tracey and Isall, respectively. Mum and Dad of course and not forgetting Eilish. Anja also got to meet her cousin, Shauna. They had hours of fun playing outside. Granny of course was in her element taking her little girls all over the place.
The built-in babysitters gave Lynne and myself a well earned chance to get to see a little of Ireland. We took two day trips, one to Clifden, a remote village/town on the west coast of Ireland which took us through some very beautiful landscapes. We also took a trip to Carrick-on-Shannon, a town approximately one hours journey.
We had planned to do more traveling, but we just needed some downtime!!

Paul, Lynne and Anja's Blog 2.0
Hi Everybody,
I guess water is a lot of fun but if it's the only thing you have looked at in nine months it could get tiring. We (I) am going to try getting back into providing a regular post once again so that you can catch up with our news.
I'd like to state that it was due to popular demand, but that's not true. Of course there were several calls for a return of the blog, not very loud however.
As I start this up again and visitors return (hopefully), all I ask is that you leave a small comment from time to time, just to reassure me that somebody out there in the ether is reading the garble that I write!!
Anyhow, there is lots of new stuff in our lives which I will hopefully cover over the coming weeks, none bigger however than our news about a new baby on the way. Yes it's true we are going to have another baby, early August 2007, and Anja has no idea how different her world is about to come.
I leave you all, on this first post back, with a picture of us on the night that we discovered that a new baby was on the way!!
More later....Paul
