Connor Jacob Owens

Let me introduce our newest family member. Connor Jacob Owens, born this morning at 10.56am, weighing in at 8 lbs 12 oz (the lightest of our children) and with a very full head of hair!

They always say that there are certain days of one’s life one will never forget. I have many of those already, our wedding day, the birth of Anja and Isabel to mention a few. Today I added another, I’ve got goose bumps just refreshing the memory.

Lynne is feeling great, as well as one can that is after delivering a baby. She did a fantastic job and getting some rest tonight. We are all so excited. The girls visited this afternoon and were hyper and all doting ….for about 20 minutes after which playing catch round the room was more fun! Bless their hearts!

He is finally here and I plan to post lots more photos over the coming days. The red Santa hat is given to all December babies born at the Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
